Orders & Payment


Can I cancel or modify my order after placing it?
We strive to ship orders as quickly as possible, so we are unable to guarantee changes or cancellations once an order is placed. Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! We offer digital gift cards that can be purchased on our website in various denominations.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Venmo and ShopPay (pay in full or in installments).

Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is applied where required by law and is calculated based on your shipping address at checkout.

Do you offer gift wrapping or special packaging?
At this time, we do not offer gift wrapping services, but all it is something we hope to offer in the future! If you have great ideas for gift packaging, let us know!


Shipping & Delivery

What are your shipping procedures?
We offer flat-rate shipping of $5.00 (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) anywhere in the contiguous U.S. Exclusions apply to Alaska, Hawaii, and international orders, which are subject to standard carrier rates. Most orders ship within 1-2 days, but please allow up to two weeks for delivery, or four weeks during promotions. Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee.

Do you ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses?
Yes, we do! However, some shipping options may be limited.

Do you offer international shipping?
Yes! International shipping rates are determined at checkout. For a shipping quote, please contact us.

What happens if my package is marked as delivered but I can’t find it?
Please check with neighbors or building management first. If your package is still missing, contact our customer service team, and we’ll assist you in filing a claim if necessary.

What is Package Protection?
Our goal is to ensure that you receive your order in excellent condition; however, we recognize that incidents happen and errors occur during the shipping and delivery process. That is why we offer package protection! We hope this process is easy and helpful for you! Package protection ensures your order is covered against damage, loss, or theft during shipping. If selected at checkout, you’ll be eligible for a replacement or refund. Orders that opt out of package protection are not eligible for compensation. Do you offer local pickup or in-store shopping?
Currently, we do not have a retail location for in-store shopping or pickup. All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Poulsbo, Washington


Returns & Exchanges


What is your return policy?
If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns within 60 days for store credit (original value + 6%) or a refund (original value only). Returns after 60 days will be eligible for store credit only. Some exclusions apply, including personalized items and final sale items. 

  • Please notify us of any order problems within 60 days of purchase.
  • RETURNS WITHIN 60 DAYS: We will automatically issue you a store credit (amount of purchase value + 6%!).  Alternatively, you may opt for a refund instead (amount of purchase value only).  Please email us if you prefer the refund. hello@kickeepants.com
  • RETURNS AFTER 60 DAYS: Items in their original condition with tags will receive store credit for the original purchase value. If the item is not in its original condition, we will provide store credit for the current value of the item.
  • For always available products (such as adult bedding and non-seasonal items), we will provide store credit for 75% of the original purchase value. 
  • RETURNS AFTER 120 DAYS: from original purchase, we will provide store credit for 50% of the original purchase value.
  • For items purchased from another retailer, we will provide store credit for the lowest retail value of the item.*
  • *For always available products, we will provide store credit for 50% of the current value.
  • There is a maximum of $300 credit per household per year.
  • Any products returned without pre-authorization will be donated or shipped back to customer at their expense.
  • KicKee does not provide or refund return shipping on international orders.
  • Store Credit is applied to your account and is non-transferable.

    We are unable to accept returns of the following:
    • Custom items, or products that were sold exclusive to retailers
    • Items that have been personalized
    • Samples
    • Items purchased during a Final Sale promotion (noted in fine print on the ad or email)

How long does it take to process a return or exchange?
Returns are processed within 7-10 business days of receiving the item. Store credit will be issued to your account.

What if I receive a defective or incorrect item?
Please notify us within 60 days, and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Can I return a gift I received?
Yes! Gift returns will be issued as store credit.

After placing an order, I noticed there was a promotion on the item(s) I ordered. Am I able to receive a price adjustment?
We are able to extend the discount pricing to orders placed before the sale (up to 5 days prior) if requested within 7 days of the sale or promotion, unless otherwise noted in promotion rules. Price adjustment will be provided by in store credit. Price adjustments exclude store-wide sales and promotions.


Product Information


Are any of your products treated with flame retardant chemicals?
No. We do not treat any of our garments with flame-retardant chemicals. Our sleepwear meets federal "snug-fitting" guidelines for safety. For more information about Snug Fitting Sleepwear, please see our blog post here!

Do all of the styles fit the same?
No, there are very different fits when it comes to our sleepwear or our daywear. Our sleepwear is designed to meet “Snug Fitting” guidelines on sizes above 9 months for the protection of your little ones. Snug Fitting does not apply to garments under size 9 month. Our daywear items are designed for little ones during their waking hours. These items are not sleep or loungewear and therefore have the fit you would expect for regular tee shirts, pants or dresses. You will notice our website is designed to keep the sleepwear separate from the daywear so that you can easily distinguish between the two. What is the difference between the fabrics you offer?
We offer a variety of bamboo-based fabrics designed for different levels of softness, stretch, and durability. Some of our popular options include:

Signature Bamboo
Lightweight and delightfully smooth, our signature bamboo fabric feels exceptionally soft against skin and stretches for maximum comfort. Great as a layering tee on cooler days or worn solo during warmer weather. Fabric content: 95% Viscose from Bamboo, 5% Spandex.

Luxe/Luxe Jersey
Our Luxe/Luxe Jersey fabric is a perfect blend of stretchy, soft bamboo fibers with supple cotton. This slightly more dense fabric retains all of the buttery softness of our signature bamboo but with a thicker feel, making it perfect for outside sports or as a solo layer in spring or fall. Fabric content: 70% Viscose from Bamboo, 20% Cotton, 5% Spandex.

Fleece/Bamboo Fleece
The interior of our Bamboo Fleece feels plush and wonderfully soft against skin while the outside is smooth, with a clean look. This fabric will have the traditional feel of a cotton sweatshirt but with the added benefit of stretch and durability from the bamboo fiber blend. Fabric content: 68% Viscose from Bamboo, 27% Cotton, 5% Spandex.

Quilted Bamboo
A dense and pliable fabric made of a layer of cozy polyester batting sandwiched between two layers of our signature bamboo. The quilted stitching makes for a cozy, extra warm feel that performs great in blankets, jackets, and baby sleep sacks. Fabric Content: 95% Viscose from Bamboo, 5% Spandex, (Lining) 100% Poly

Pure Knitted
Our Pure Knitted fabric utilizes a luxuriously soft yarn for a classic and timeless look. This midweight fabric brings style and texture to many of our most cherished items, such as baby rompers, blankets, cardigans and throws. Fabric Content: 100% Viscose from Bamboo

Pure Woven
Silky bamboo fibers are woven together into an airy and deliciously soft fabric. Fabric Content: 100% Rayon from Bamboo

Sateen Weave
Like silk against your skin, our Sateen Weave is the reason our sheets, pillowcases and duvets are known for the gift of a heavenly night's sleep. Luxuriously silky to the touch and naturally cooling, KICKEE’s Sateen Weave feels like decadent silk wash after wash. Fabric Content: 100% Viscose from Bamboo

Coated Woven
Combining all of the luxurious softness of our Pure Woven fabric with a fully waterproof Polyurethane backing, our Coated Woven fabric was designed with comfort and dryness in mind. Fabric Content: 100% Viscose from Bamboo (Polyurethane backing)

Fluffle
Named for a group of bunnies, our fluffle designs are absolutely dreamy with a down alternative fill that you simply have to feel to understand. Fabric Content: 95% Bamboo Viscose, 5% Spandex with a fluffy Poly Fill

Can you tell me about the vinyl personalization and how to care for it?

The vinyl used is a stretch heat transfer vinyl and is applied with heat and pressure. It is independently lab tested and safe for application on children's products.

To care for personalized garments, we recommend to machine wash gently with cold water and tumble dry on low or delicate cycle to prevent the vinyl from warping.

As any KicKee garment, it should not be washed or dried with items with zippers or Velcro. We also recommend washing the garment inside out to preserve the vinyl.
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for personalized items.

Does KicKee have OEKO Certification?

What is the best way to wash and dry KicKee fabric? 
Machine wash cold and tumble dry on low. Avoid washing with items that have zippers or Velcro to prevent pilling. 

Can you tell me more about the fabric?

This is our favorite subject here at KicKee because our fabric is our passion! We do not buy our fabric from the open market, but start from the bamboo pulp and mill our fabric ourselves. Therefore we control the process from start to finish and would love to share the details of our well established production process. Why does my bamboo fabric pill over time? 
Pilling can occur due to friction, especially in printed fabrics. Washing garments inside out and avoiding abrasive fabrics can help reduce pilling. Our independent lab testing has shown that the piling rate at KicKee is the lowest on the market. For more information: please see our blog post about our independent laboratory testing.
